How to read the caption from a picture from picasa

I developed an App that downloads and views pictures from Picasa Web. When I upload the pictures from my computer there is a caption field. When I download a picture I log the json response but within it (the response) I do not see the caption. Any idea how I can read the caption from my Android app? Tried metedata extractor but that does not capture the caption field within it.
