i got to do an image processing project using kinect. And the instructor want us to use the kinect in the matlab environment. Now i know that with the kinect v1 , you could connect the two using matlab image acquisition tool . But with the kinect v2 , you cant. So how can i connect the two, he mentioned writing mex file which i didnt fully understand . it will be helpful if someone will direct to the right reading materiel .
