How can i add an image to the emulator gallery in android studio?

I am developing an image filter app.But can't really try it if i don't have any images.

Yes, i know that i can test it in the phone, but it's not the same, i need the error messages and other stuff.

I just want to access an image from the AVD's gallery so that i can test my app. How can i add one?

Remember, i am using android studio. I saw some examples on how to do it in Eclipse but i am not using that.

So, how can i add an image to the emulator image gallery?
