Android listview with different columns per row [on hold]

I want to develop an android gridview with different number of columns per row.

I want every even numbered row to have four columns and every odd numbered rows to have two columns.

The following is an illustration of what I want to achieve.

So finally I can have a gridview that looks like this

How can I achieve this?
